Location: Arabia Mountain
The Arabia Mountain is a 30-minute drive from Atlanta, Georgia–that is why it is considered interstate driving. Although the exit is well labeled, it is still a little hard to see the signage for Arabia Mountain, so it would be better if you bring your GPS/phone with you. Additionally, although you can actually explore the place by yourself, if you really want to enjoy your Arabia Mountain adventure, we highly suggest that you consider being part of a hiking group where Arabia Mountain Rangers will serve as your guide. These people are really acquainted with the place, giving you the assurance that you’ll be able to learn more about the importance of the ecosystem. As for the hike, it’s not really as strenuous as what you imagine, but it can be a little difficult for those who are not used to walking on an uneven ground. The view from the top is breathtaking, and you can even have a picnic from there.
